ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM
Access control systems mitigate the risk of unwanted intruders, and control the movement of people within the secure area. With the use of user specific keycards, keyfobs or biometrics these systems determine the identity of individuals attempting to enter the building, or accessing any of the secure areas within the building and at what times. Unlike keys, if keyfobs are lost they can easily be deactivated, and reprogrammed for the intended user.
Access Control Systems log every time access is granted or denied to the premises for later review if necessary in the event of an incident. Reports can be generated manually or sent on a recurring basis to see what areas where accessed and when.
Good Business Practice
Access control is good business practice and satisfies employee and tenant expectations of security.
